Permanent red light on router

I have tried everything but router has a constant red light and WiFi / internet terrible in the house ! But no one seems to bother .. I’m really annoyed as I know it’s faulty but customer services don’t even listen .. I done all the steps yet still permanent red light on it . Can you assist please ?

    Please do a pin-hole reset on the hub and if the red LED continues then the hub will need replacing.  VM staff member will be in touch. The WiFi signal has nothing to do with the red LED, but you need to sort that problem first.

    We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your hub displaying a red light. 

    We won't be able to fix this remotely so I would like to arrange for an engineer to come to take a look at this for you. They'll check the hub over and complete a replacement if needed.
