No internet since last night, hub 5x flashing red

Hi all, wondering if anyone else can help me with what's happening. I have had no internet since last night around midnight, it's now 6pm. 

I have a hub 5x. It is showing a red light that is flashing slowly. I have reset it, rebooted it, factory reset it, the works. Nothing has fixed it. 

I contacted tech support, they said it was "being investigated" and would be fixed "in some hours". That was over 6 hours ago. I can't find anything online suggesting a wider issue. 

Most of the diagnostics just tell me I'm not connected to the internet(!). The list I get on the router diagnostic tool says; 

- the temperature is normal 

- the broadband is down, check the coaxial cable is firmly attached (it is)

- gateway IPv4 address is not valid

- gateway IPv6 address is not valid

-  your broadband connection is down 

We have an autistic adult in the home who is not coping well with the change of routine and it's causing significant issues. Please somebody help.
