You are only sent a self install kit of the property has previously had a service from Virgin. What Virgin cannot tell is if a previous occupier has removed their sockets in the meantime.

You said you don't have the coaxial wall socket. Did you mean that, or the coaxial cable? If there is no socket on the wall and no obvious coaxial lead through the wall, you will need to call for a manned installation. 0800 052 1734.
