Working fine for me.

I had to have a Hub swap due to a fault, The new Hub is still on the previous firmware despite a full pinhole reset and the log showing a firmware download. I'm wondering if the firmware on the servers is still the previous version, and the latest versions are "pushed" out at targeted locations piecemeal. Perhaps only after all Hubs are updated, are the servers loaded with the latest version? I can't think of any other reason, apart from "they have pulled it".

Seems I missed this, So you connected a hub on stock firmware, it grabbed an update, but it wasnt this new version.
Yeah that might mean they pulled it interesting, possibly explains why I dont have have it then.

Is there a way to force this update?
My hub 5 rebooted a few nights ago, but I definitely do not that this new firmware.

Unfortunately there is no way you can force an update. VM probably just run a schedule to do the update and then another later to tidy up any missed.

I did a pinhole reset on my Hub 5 this morning in an attempt to fix the problem.
Result - upstream modulation still QAM 16 and BQM still solid red.
The only thing that has changed is my external IP address.

A new WAN IP would suggest VM are re-segmenting the area, or have replaced components in the Network? Your BQM will need to be edited to reflect the new IP. If the 16 QAM persists, VM will need to fix this.

Thanks Adduxi, didn't think to change the IP on the BQM. That's working now.

Same here, Hub 5 failed to update firmware last night. Circuit was down for approx. 1.5 hours.

I reset hub and it seems to have resolved bug with DHCP which resulted in no IP being allocated, and getting 169.x.x.x IP, or a total inability to connect to WiFi when you had lots of devices. I am a happy bunny. I got it overnight so it might be coming in batches or I had just left hub on for so long.

My Hub 5 has now failed this two nights in a row. Of course it comes with the outages as well. That’s three times now in about a week. Not good at all !!

Just for completeness on this one. I've just pinhole reset the Hub and it has now finally updated to LG-RDK_6.9.35-2302.6 Now that it's updated it's back to modem mode 🙂

Net was down for a while with flashing yellow light, I waited a while, as it might have been in process of flashing, but after an hour I rebooted it manually, flashing yellow light came back, but luckily this time only briefly, now its back online.
I am using SC-QAM 4096 on downstream, lots of errors, but no uncorrectables. OFDMA on upstream, is everyone else on a 94mhz QAM 4096 downstream channel?
All the 3.0 US channels are QAM16, not even QAM32.
