Never ending outage and internet drop out in N16 London

There is something seriously wrong with virgin broadband. They are unable to fix this never ending outage. I haven't been able to connect to internet over 2 months.

Its a loop. Internet goes down. Outage detected. Outage fixed few hours later no internet again. There is no help from virgin support lines as well. I am not able to cancel my contract because they want early cancellation fee. I am stuck.

I am in the exact same position only I live in Glasgow. Countless messages to say they have fixed the issue then the very same day the fault reoccurs.
It’s been nearly 3 months and we are still no further forward. I believe they pretend to have fixed the fault to close down any compensation claims early.

Support team are useless on the phone, Facebook messenger and WhatsApp. I’ve escalated my complaint only to be told that my fault will be fixed shortly.

Currently waiting on a response from complaint which will then be followed up with request for deadlock letter so I can take it further with Ombudsman and if needed Ofcom. The level of service is pathetic and has caused so much time and money as I rely on internet for work.

  • Hey rahaenor, thank you for reaching out and we are so sorry to hear about your outage. We understand this is very frustrating.

An SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) outage refers to a broadband service disruption caused by interference with the broadband signal. This interference, or "noise," can originate from various sources within the network, making it a challenging issue to diagnose and resolve.

Often these can get extended you will get updated via text or by looking here
