Need urgent help, Brown box outside home has been damaged and taken

Tried to reach customer support and the bot doesn't seem to understand a damn thing and just hangs up, who can I call to actually get some help? I'd like to ensure the engineer that's coming on Saturday is fully aware of the fault, because it looks like my neighbour smashed it from the wall and thrown the box away, and I can't even see the cable that came from the street.

I was told to also come to the forums for a chance...

Thanks for the help and assist

Hopefully a VM person will pick this up and offer to help.

It sounds like your neighbour doesn't want the box there. Was it fixed on your side of the boundary, or his?

  • Was installed when I moved in back in 2024 April/May, they never said a thing the entire time I was there.

It's a flat, I'm on the second floor, they were in the garden cleaning it I like to think they accidentally hit it and knocked it down, but wben I went to find out why my connectionwas gone, I coulsnt even see the brown box or wiring, looks like they just torn it down and thrown it away

It's a little tiny garden there's a gate but to compare the size, think of a table that seats 4 people with 1 chair on each side, barely that size works fit.

Hope someone from VM comes here to help

      Hi dunhilda

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry to see this photo of the cabling. Hopefully it was a pure accident indeed.

I'll send you a PM now to assist further.

Might be worth (tactfully!) asking the neighbour what happened. Hopefully accidental but if you get VM to fit a replacement, and the original was deliberately removed, you might find the replacement disappears the same way.

It's possible that the resident in the ground floor flat has objected to the box being fitted on 'their' wall.
