My Tapo camera needs port forwarding

I have had a look and clueless how to do this

Apparently I need to open port 554 and find the public WAN address on my router

I am reasonable on IT settings, expert PC tutor and I can get into the router just fine.

But the dialogue in my Virgin router type 3 is just nonsense.

Can anyone help me please?

Tapo help just keeps replying with the same no functional boiler plate advice already followed.
I have up and am converting the Fire tablet into an Amazon  child’s tablet and giving it to the grandchildren.  Useless for general use. My iPads, new and a very old one both work with Tapo cameras and monitor the babies when asleep.  Sharp image tooWill just use those. Tip: Avoid Fire Tablets for anything other than social browsing or kids Peppa videos.

In the Hub 3 menu :

Advanced settings >>> Security >>> Port forwarding > Create a new rule

Admin >>> Info >>> WAN IP settings >  IPv4 address   ( this is the Public IP )

      Yup

That is as far as I got.
the camera IP has one more group than the group spaces in the ‘rule!

in fact all IP address have one more group.

Bad code by Tapo, no applications should require ports opened. Their app is written wrong, the app should contact Tapo and they can then reply to that message without requiring any ports to be opened.

If you want to use third-party applications like VLC on a PC outside your LAN you'll need port forwarding. However this won't be necessary when using the Tapo app as this typically uses a cloud-based P2P to directly access the video stream from the camera to the mobile phone.
