My Hub has a constant red led

Hi,

My hub has now been showing a constant red led for the last 3 or 4 months now, maybe longer, I have tried everything, turning it off at the mains, reset, full factory reset and nothing resolved this, its still constant red I have no idea if the unit has a fault or what, do I need a new hub?

  • I'm having the same issue, done the factory rest and Iam concerned that it is warm to the touch. It is not in direct sunlight And is well ventilated. Needs sorting ASAP as I WFH.

    If it is a Hub 3 and the red LED persists after a pinhole reset, it will need replaced. This is the overheating warning and should be working correctly.  A VM Mod should pick this up in a day or two and discuss.

    Sorry i forgot to add it is a Hub 3 i have, hopefully if this needs replacing i will get a hub 5 or something :)

      Let's hope so, I can't face calling up trying to explain the issue so hopefully it'll get picked up here 😊
