Issues with internet

I have no internet, router flashing green light, trued resting not worked. Can not get an engineer till next Wednesday. I am connected via a splitter. Does anybody have a picture of how the cables are connected as my splitter is not labels?

      A picture of what cable go where in case they are set up incorrectly? And do I really need it?

      I have booked an appointment but it’s over a week without internet.

      That looks like an amplifier as well as a splitter. The green LED is the key and one cable should go to a mains plug. 

  • Hi Yes it is both, and yes one cable goes to main and the other is to the virgin wall box. I am having issues with a brand new router and I think my plumbs may have change the layout of cables when he disconnected it?
