Issues trying to split wifi

Hi 

I contacted virgin to get info in splitting the Wi-Fi. Into 2.4 and 5 . I need 2.4 to work Arlo home security system . We have recently changed our broadband to virgin and got new router everything was working fine until we got the new router.Contacted virgin today and they sent an email on how to do this. 

When I put in http:// 192. 168.0.1 it asked me for a password but my virgin media password or the password attached to the router would not work. Any ideas ??

    Are you using the 'settings' password from the sticker on the hub (not the wifi password)?

    Another few words of advice. Under no circumstances link the VM connect app to your router, & turn off "Channel Optimisation". Otherwise any changes you make will be wiped out by VMs AI Wi-Fi bots taking back control of the router.
