I want to speak to a human!!!!

I recently moved house and we are having issues with our wi-fi in certain areas of the house and outside office. I have tried the online chat, calling the virgin number, Whatsapp and it's impossible to get through to a human being. I just want an engineer to come out and review our set up so see how to boost wifi across our home. The customer service is shocking. Anyone have a number that gets through to a human?

VM provide you with a broadband connection and some cheap free WiFi-kit - but they won't have any idea as to the wireless environment in your home.

You can often get far better wireless performance by using better equipment than VM supply as freebies, but what are the specific issues you have? You're far more likely to get much better advice on this forum, than a (potentially offshore) CS agent is likely to offer.

Cheers. I have an office in the garden and the wifi connection is poor. I have one of them wifi pods plugged in but it's not doing anything. The previous owners left a TPlink set up in the office but no idea how to connect that to our VM hub. I tried googling it but to no success. If you have any guidance it would be appreciated?

Did you plug the pod into a socket in the office in the garden?

If so, it won't do anything to improve things as it's designed to repeat a good signal, not 'magically' create a better signal where it's currently bad!

You need to move the pod to an area of good coverage, where it can repeat the signal to the office.

And even then you may not get a good signal because out in the shed you may be getting interfering signals from other nearby houses.

To get a strong reliable signal you need to run an ethernet cable to the shed.
