Hub4 Fan running constantly now

Hey

For the past month my Hub4 Fan has been running at full (or what I think is full) non stop. I've tried using compressed air to get dust out but it hasn't relented. 

I've had the hub for years now. I'm just wondering if anyone had experienced this with their hub4 and if they managed to resolve the issue, please?

The router is standing upright and not blocked on etc.

The noise is audible over the TV in the same room and is really off putting with a high pitched electrical noise too. 

I'm guessing age and a build up of dust dried into the mainboard and chips is preventing thermal cooling from occurring effectively?

    Welcome back to our Community Forums and thanks for your post. 

    If the hub is out in the open, well ventilated and there's no dust causing this, we can look to get a engineer visit arranged so the hub can be replaced if needed.
