Hub 5 Modem Mode BROKEN

I have a Hub 5 which I've been using in modem mode with a PfSense router.

Late last night the internet cut out, and the Hub 5 has now reverted itself to router mode. I've tried putting it back into modem mode but it just hangs on the 'Applying Settings' screen and the Hub 5 does not reboot or enter modem mode.

I assume this is another unsolicited, broken firmware update from VM. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

This is fixed now, had to do a pinhole reset and then I was able to re-enable modem mode the usual way.

      Knows their stuff

On same software version, and my HUB5 was fine (just for info). Hardware Version is 1.2 though not 1.1 like yours.

    Here's the current version info:

    Hardware version : 1.1

    Software version : LG-RDK_7.6.20-2306.5

    Config file: cmreg-vmdg660-bbt060+voc-b.cm

I'm having to run a double NAT setup for now which obviously isn't ideal.

Hey markjs, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear you are having some connection issues.

We've taken a look and everything looks great on our side, how has it been over the last few days?

I fail to understand how this can be, its terrible how VM can let this happen.

Do let us know the firmware version for keeping track

Its almost like VM are doing  "Operation NAT for everyone"

Which version of Software does your Hub 5 have ?

Have you tried a 60 press of RESET to get the Hub 5 back to the factory state ?
