Almost certainly a staged roll out. Mine took a few days after the initial reports of a new level of firmware.

Ahh yeah, got used to just not logging and using check router status, and no idea what he password is to login as its a pain to check the bottom of the unit, wish I added the password to keeppass, but I am assuming I am on the latest but one firmware assuming previous updates have been working.

I don't have it. I've been near fully without internet since Tuesday. Virgin Hub 5 can't handle DCHP, doesn't have modem mode to let a third party router handle it instead. I've read that the firmware update resolves these issues yet I don't have it and I have to wait another 5 days before the tech team can even look at my ticket. Fuming.

The HUB 5 does have modem mode.
Do you mean the HUB 5x?

There are two Hub 5 versions. One is for the co-ax cable and TV. The newer one, Hub 5X, is fibre only and no TV, and no modem mode. Which one do you have ?

Speedtest result after Hub was exchanged & before the Firmware was updated.
They have been doing Factory reboots to my Hub at 5am in the morning to roll back the Firmware update.
After complaining about it killing the 2.5 Gbit port. Now have a managed 2.5 Gbit switch that had EEE turned off by default. But I still only get 960 via the 2.5 port, Then I found my Ethernet card setting had been changed from 2.5Gbit to 1 Gbit. Changed it back and the internet died. Back to 1 Gbit and it works again. Something really dodgy going on.
