Hub 4 flashing white and sometimes blue no Internet

Hub stopped working at 3am this morning, numerous attempts to reboot. 

I can't log into hub to see what's going on. 

Called Virgin and apparently there is an issue in our local area. Spoke to other locals and they have successfully managed to reboot this morning with no issues.

Virgin's solution is wait 24 hours and they will monitor our line and sent updates via text message. 

I'm still obviously paying for this complete lack service and I'm not happy with the 'solution' we have been offered. 

Any ideas please? Thank you
