How much packet loss is normal/acceptable?

We have been having ongoing short drops in service (16 consecutive T3 timeouts) which am dealing with separately but there was an area outage of a few hours last week (plus a couple of short ones the other day - am away so not sure if they were T3s) after which there has been a consistent packet loss in my BBQM that wasn’t evident previously - see below for a sample day.

What is considered normal/acceptable packet loss levels? Previously, there was normally zero evident with the exception of the times the T3s happened, so, to me, this isn’t normal.

Thanks

If your connection is under light load not max out your speed there should be no packet loss

Thanks, that was what I thought. We are away and I can see our average load is less than 1Mbps all the time (even with a scheduled backups to the cloud, usage is minimal), so, not even touching the sides on a 1Gig service. Suggests something not right. Guess I’ll do battle with customer service when we get back. Joy.

Check and share your Network Logs. Do any of the errors or warning line up with the spikes on the BQM?
