High Upstream Power (55 dBmV) and Packet Loss - Liverpool Area

Hi Team,

I’m experiencing significant packet loss and jitter on my Gig1 connection. I have run my own diagnostics and found that my Upstream Power levels are out of spec.

Specifically, my DOCSIS 3.1 Upstream is hitting 55.0 dBmV, and my 3.0 channels are hitting up to 52.2 dBmV. I have also noticed that one of my upstream channels has dropped to 16QAM, which suggests noise ingress on the line.

I have checked my internal coaxial connections and they are hand-tight. My hub is in Modem Mode connected to a high-end mesh system, but the packet loss is definitely originating from the Hub's handshake with the CMTS.

Could you please take a look at my area/cabinet stats and book an engineer to investigate the high upstream power and potential noise issues?

Stats Summary:

Upstream 3.1 Power: 55.0 dBmV

Upstream 3.0 Max Power: 52.2 dBmV

Modulation: 16QAM on Channel 13
