Constant red light on router

Hi there, I’ve had persistent issues with WiFi for the past couple of months with several engineers allegedly working on a fix in the area. I’m on the verge of leaving after c 15 years as I’m a bit sick of it but I just wondered if the constant red light on my router might also have something to do with it. No one I speak to on the phone seems to care about it but it doesn’t seem normal to have a constant red light (even when the WiFi is working as it should be). I’ve asked for a new router previously and been told that they need to fix the area issues first…still waiting…

If it is a Hub 3 and if the red LED persists after a pinhole reset, the Hub should be swapped out. This red LED is the overheat warning and should be working correctly

However a faulty LED will not affect your WiFi.

If you wait here a couple of days a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss directly with you.

Thanks but no. I’m now waiting for a deadlock letter so I can take virgin to the regulator and finally get out of contract without paying early repayment fees. Even though the issues are now supposedly fixed, I’m still only getting download speeds of 21MBPs. It’s an absolute joke
