Constant Issues With WIFI and LAN Connections
I am having some major problems with my internet connection for the last few weeks, I was hoping they would just clear themselves up.
The problems are on both WIFI and LAN connections, some phones and tablets intermittingly don’t work, my work computer plugged direct into the hub gets completely blocked out and the only way to get it connected again is to turn the router off, WIFI CCTV is intermittent, my Ring doorbell and chime no longer work, it’s all been working fine for the last 6+ months since I had FTTP installed and nothing has changed my end.
I tried the Fault line: 0800 561 0061 – No faults, I then tried the web service at;
https://www.virginmedia.com/help/check/status/identification/identify
But this says “Intermittent signal in your area” it also says that on the Virgin app and has done for at least two weeks.
VM Hub 5 light is solid white
Here are some of the warnings from the Network Log from just today, I have left out the MAC addresses;
DBC-REQ Mismatch Between Calculated Value for P1.6hi Compared to CCAP Provided Value
And;
REG-RSP-MP Mismatch Between Calculated Value for P1.6hi Compared to CCAP Provided Value
And;
DHCP WARNING - Non-critical field invalid in response
Here are ones marked critical;
SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing
And
No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
Is there anything I can do to try fix this my end? Thanks
The Downstream power is too high, range is -6 to +10. A VM tech will need to resolve this for you.
