Virgin box wont record or pause

My Virgin TV box 6, wont record, not will it pause live tv. I've tried resetting the box. I've tried turning off for an hour and turning back on. I've called 150, followed the options, which simply ends the call and gives me a web-link, i then follow the link and answer the questions and then it goes absolutely nowhere. I need virgins help with the box, however finding it impossible to get any help from virgin. Have wasted hours going in circles trying to talk to someone.

    What happens when you try recording or pausing TV?

      It shows a message saying, "sorry we couldn't do this for you". It used to work fine. The HD/Storage shows as being empty, no recordings, too.

        That error message doesn't sound like one generated by TiVo-software, it should also have an error code number if it was.

        Can you post a picture of this message?
