Virgin TV 360 remote .

Hi,
I've received my new remote for the Virgin 360 .
Installed the new app / software but I can't make it work .
The remote only works to turn the TV on and off .

The old remote stopped working and the screen only shows install complete but I can't do anything with the remote .

Not sure what to do from here .

    I had a similar problem. 110 minutes on the telephone trying everything only resulted in the new remote stopping working. I have an engineer calling on Monday. meantime my old remote still allows me to watch live TV but I cannot record or stream. However today all my recordings re-appeared. These had been deleted by 360. Hopefully the engineer will just restore or replace my V6 box. 360 can get back in the bin as far as I am concerned.

    Have you pulled the plastic tab out from the back of the 360 remote so the batteries can make contact and allow the remote to work?

    It should work by holding down the 'Live TV' (the one on the right hand side directly below the red power/standby button) and '0' button together for around 10/15 seconds. The Standby button should then start to flash followed by an onscreen message displaying 'Pairing successful - this remote will only work with this Virgin 360 box'.

    You can also try the following:-

    Put the box into 'Pairing Mode' by pressing the Standby/On button on the front of the 360 box for 10 seconds.  Then using the remote control, press and hold the 'Live TV' button and the '0' button together for 10/15 seconds. And fingers crossed hopefully a  message should appear on the screen confirming that pairing was successful.
