hi there, was wondering if someone could guide me on this.
how do i set up tv box to record future programmes with specific words i. e Sinatra...U2....Sportscene....Coronation Street for example like was able to do before tv 360 was installed...dont know if i am being daft and cant see how to do it but any simple instructions to do this , if you can, would be appreciated...thank you
Unfortunately it will only record programmes that appear in the tv guide.
As already advised you need to set any future recordings from the TV guide and if you are setting a series link set it from 'from this episode onwards' or 'new only', or you might just get all the repeats of Coronation Street.
What you're describing is the Wishlist feature on TiVo-software, which underpins TiVo & V6 boxes.
TV360 boxes run Horizon-firmware, which isn't so recording-centric and has substantial differences in features with TiVo-firmware.
i.e. going from Tivo to 360 is a downgrade of a lot of functions, contrary to the 'upgrade' word VM bizarrely use.
As has been said, this is a TiVo feature, and also one where TiVo have the patent, so will never show up on the 360. Especially as VM (well Liberty Global technically) don't appear interested in adding new features to the 360.
Wishlist is just one of many features you'll find missing from the 360.
