V360 forcing TV into HDR mode

Has anyone noticed their signal from the 360 box is forcing their tv to enter HDR mode regardless of the channel.  It means the picture looks terrible as HDR is displaying on a non HDR  channel. Seems to have happened just a few days ago - didn’t do this before.

I saw it after watching F1. Can't remember how I resolved it, might have put box and/or TV into standby.

Hey Fraz56, HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and refers to a technique that expresses details in content in both very bright and very dark scenes. It offers a more natural and realistic picture output even with a widened range of contrast.

  • I started a re-watch of Game of Thrones and some of the episodes (not all) are doing this. Whilst watching the TV keeps changing from HD to HDR making the image bright for a little while before switching back to HD.

Some episodes to do not do this - and it's very annoying. Programme is not interrupted, just an annoying flicker.

I’ve had the same issue as of last night. My LG OLED keeps flickering between HD and HLGHDR. Screen is going brighter than darker and it’s really annoying. Any ideas on how to fix it. It started at the red wedding to so even more annoyed I couldn’t watch it

        Hi sb_81

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry for the TV issue with Game of Thrones. This is something we're aware of and working hard to fix asap.
