V360 Box - no lights!

My V360 box worked properly for a couple of months but now has no lights. Everything works... that is to say I can watch TV and record shows, etc... but the lights don't work at all. I have tried to reset it, and unplug it for 10mins, usually the power light starts to work, but then after 5mins the lights all disappear again and remain off.

  • Hi jackalds,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with your Tv service.

Can you confirm if you are still experencing this issue?

  • Hi Martin,

Yes, it's still the same. Have searched online for all solutions and tried various resets. When I unplug the box for a while and turn it back on the power light works again for a few minutes, but then disappears and all the lights remain off. Asides from that the box seems to be working as it should.

Okay, thank you for raising this to you.

Never heard of this, but maybe if you have the set-top box in a power-saving mode this might happen. As long as all the services are still working as they should on the set-top box I don't think there's anything to worry about.

We'll feed this back on our side and if it's any different to what we've advised, we can investigate this further for you.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate as it's annoying not knowing if the box is on or off. The power-saving mode is on "active start". And the lights, as I mentioned before only work for a short time after a hard reset, but then stop working completely, and stay that way. The box was only installed in September, so can't see why it's already not working as it should.

I also have this issue, please DM me with the fix.  Hoping I won’t need another new box as that would make 3 replacements in less than 12 months… 😟

  • Hi, I've just got this problem on my tv box, is there a fix other than just to switch off and on again.

Hi richardwilson2 thanks for your message.

It does seem like this is a temporary glitch affecting a small amount of boxes, does it work permanently when you try to restart it?

      Many thanks

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Yes the lights came back on with a restart.

Note: I had an issue with the router, light permanently red, and ran system tests from the website, then customer service did the same. Don't know if that could remove the lights on the TV box.
