TV Go app says 360 offline, can't set recording

Can usually set recordings using the mobile but it keeps giving the message TV box not connected. I have a new replacement 360 box. The TV works fine and it's possible to set recordings through the TV. Have rebooted the box and reinstalled the app but still unable to use the mobile to set recordings.

Any suggestions please? 

  • On the 360 go to Settings, Info, About and check the CA ID matches your TVGO app Virgin TV boxes Smart card number. Have you also named the new 360 box the same as your old one, check the Default box for recording on the app.

     

  • I did change the name, l will try to remember the what I called the old box.

      As long as the new name matches the default recording box name in the app that should be OK.

      Do the Smart card number's match if not then the app might still be finding the old box and might need a call to Virgin unless one of the forum team can help.

      Can you actually see your Saved recordings list using the app.
