TV 360 ‘upgrade’ failed
I agreed to the upgrade because I thought it was now compulsory (should have checked here). The new remotes arrived a few days ago so today I decided to run the installation, following the instructions in the upgrade video from the Home Screen.
First I got error message MA3/14/30 - ‘update failed please pop back and try again later’
Subsequent attempts result immediately in error message MA1/4/30.
Any ideas what to do?
You could try turning off the V6 with the switch on the back of the box, then on the V6 box hold down both the power button and the + buttons at the same time. Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds.
The box should reboot, the power button will turn white, it will reset and boot up normally, and then hopefully install the 360 software update.
If that doesn't work you might need to give Virgin a call.
