subtitle size V360

Just had an 'upgrade' from V6 box. The subtitle size is now awful and far too intrusive. My wife is deaf and needs subtitles but we are now watching the BBC on iplayer, IT on ITVX as I cannot reduce the size of the subtitles on the streaming V360 box. When will this get sorted.
