Sky Sports + Red button buffering on popular feeds

I’ve posted before about this but I thought I’d have another go. I can access Sky Sports + via the red button but the ‘popular’ live feeds just buffer and I can’t access them. So my example today is that there are 7 live feeds of football matches. Moving from left to right there are 2 championship matches and the other 5 are lower league matches. I try to watch the first match, Sunderland v Hull and all I get is a black screen and a spinning icon as it tries to load the feed. Same for the next match , Derby v Millwall. However when I scroll across to the less popular lower league feeds such as Crewe v Barrow the match loads. It’s the same for F1, cricket etc. I can only access what I think are less popular feeds. So with F1 I can watch a lower down feed from a drivers pov but I can’t watch the actual race as it won’t load. It feels to me that there is a bandwidth issue going on. My router is plugged straight in to my 360 box.

Have just checked on my V6 TiVo and cannot replicate the issue.  Do you have any issues with other streams?

      Hi Grimble2000

I've checked on my TV360 and have no issues with any of the red button selections on any Sky Sports channels.

Have you only tried the Sky  Sports+ channel, or have you also tried other Sky Sports channels?

The extra red button options aren't just available on the Sky+ Sports, they are available on all the Sky Sports channels with the exception of Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Mix and Sky Sports Racing.

Have you tried a different ethernet lead or different ethernet port?

Thanks for the reply. This is red button from any sky sports channel. It’s always the same. The Ethernet is in port 1 but I don’t know enough to start using other ports. Is it ok to use any of the others?

No, just sky sports+ and just the more popular streams on there. All other streams (bbc red button, iPlayer etc) via the 360 are fine

Hi Grimble2000 thanks for your post although we're sorry to hear of your concerns raised regarding Sky Sports +.

This doesn't seem to be affecting the majority of users so it might just be an issue on the feeds themselves, which is not our issue sadly as this is supplied from Sky directly.

Next time this happens, can you alert us directly and we'll try to intervene at the time of the issue?

        Many thanks
