Evening all,
I've gone on to SkySports+ and pressed the red button to watch one of the advertised games and all I am getting is a blank screen. The red button is advertised and I am using it as normal. Is anyone else getting this issue and is there a way round it ?

Which channel are you having problems with, the red button is working for me on channels 508 and 532.
Have you tried rebooting your 360 box?
Which actual match is giving you a black screen?
Have you tried the red button on a different Sky Sports channel?
I've tested all 8 EFL Cup matches and all 4 EFL Traphy matches on the red button on Sky Sports + (ch 508) and on Sky Sports Main Event UHD (ch 532) and they are all working.
I see 12 live matches on channel 508's red button. The red button works by using the network connection, so ensure the box has a good connection to the hub (wired is best).
Had this issue with a V6 TiVO box last week (one box of the two I have). Went away to another non-Sky Sports channel, went back and tried the Red Button again and it worked.
