There are often problems with the Channel 4 app, not just on the 360, but also on VM's other set top boxes. The forum team are awae of the issue resurfacing again -see <this thread>
I find that I need to sign into apps each time I turn off or reboot the 360, or if it's performed a system update.
If you are turning off the box to save power you might want to take a look at Settings > System > Standby timer
You can use this setting to control how long your TV is idle before it goes into standby mode to save power. There are four choice :- 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours and 24 hours.
This ties in with Settings > System > Standby power consumption which can be set to Fast Start, Active Start and Eco (Slow start)
Eco is the most energy efficient mode when the box isn't being sued but it takes longer to get started again.
Active start is the mid point for energy efficiency and the time taken to get started again.
Fast start is as the name implies the fastest start up but isn't quiet nas energy efficient.
The power usage info below is taken from https://www.tpcdb.com/product.php?id=7483 which is for the Dutch Ziggo MediaBox Next. That box is the same one as my TV360 which was an upgraded V6 box (Arris DCX960)
On:11.16 Watt/11.84 Watt
Standby (Fast Start):9.29 Watt/11.12 Watt
Standby (Normal Start):1.59 Watt/1.55 Watt
Standby (ECO):0.34 Watt/0.36 Watt
