Firstly I cannot stress how right the people who say "Do not upgrade" are.
Red button on Sky Sports Plus usually does not load additional content. Instead I have to reboot the box as the remote stops responding.
Same thing happens with iPlayer.
Any advice please? Other than reboot which I have done several times as I have to to get the box to respond again.
Have you tried doing a factory reset using the "Keep Recordings" option.
If that doesn't help it sounds like your box may be faulty and you will need to call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone to report a fault, or wait here for one of the forum team to pick this up which might be 2 to 3 day's.

If the remote appears to have stopped working wiggle it a few times. You should also make sure that the Power Saving mode setting is on Fast Start
Have you tried the red button on other Sky Sports channels? The additional red button content on Sky Sports+ is also available on the other Sky Sports channels with the exception of Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Mix and Sky Sports Racing.
Make sure it is the red button at the base of the remote that you are pressing and not the red record button.
Do you have the red button issue on all BBC channels or just BBC1?
The box needs an internet connection for the red button to work. Do you see any onscreen error messages such as CS2400 when the red button fails to work?
When the red button fails on BBC channels try hitting the back button on the 360 remote if the error message appears, and then press pause and play

I have sky sports + red button issue too. It doesn’t load live streams of popular events. Ive phoned about it and raised it here but no with solution
