Red button not working V360 - No error messages

Hi. I tried to use the red button function on my remote for my V360 box. The box light flickers in response but nothing happens on the tv screen. I've tried the red button with sky sports, BBC , ITV and nothing happens. There are no error messages coming up. It's unlikely to be relevant but I'm on my second V360 box as the previous one developed a fault and was replaced by Virgin. The latest box and latest remote seem to work fine otherwise.  Any wisdom would be appreciated as I'm keen to explore the new sky footy. thanks

    Have you tried rebooting your 360 by switching the power off and on, there has been a couple of reports of a black screen recently when trying to access Sky Sports+ and rebooting has fixed it.

    That's done the trick thanks. Much appreciated. As an additional question if I may. I'm guessing that the red button footy on + via the red button can't be recorded (unless it's also on a main sky channel).  thanks again

      I think you will be guessing right, you can't record anything that doesn't come down the live cable feed to the box, any streaming (as red button options or any on-demand) can't be recorded.
