Recordings failing on 360 box

Some months ago, I upgraded my TiVo to 360 using the remote.  Recently, I have experienced failed recordings.  The programmes start, but then soon freeze, and an error message appears, telling me it is a failed recording.

    What is the error message you receive?

    Is it occurring on a specific channel? Can you pause live TV and watch it delayed by a short time? |this is a good test of HDD problems.

      Thanks for your reply.  I cannot recall the exact error message.  It was something like Recording failed.   I think that the failure to record is on the BBC.  Also, since this has happened, I cannot access ITVX on the Virgin Media app.  I put in my username and password, and it just takes me back to the login again.  I can access ITVX on the Samsung TV app, but not through the Virgin app.   I don't understand your second question.

        Sorry to hear of the recording issues experienced, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums.

         

        In regards to japitts second question, if you're watching anything on live TV are you able to pause it and then resume a little time later? Not being able to do this can indicate issues the hard drive of the set top box. If you get the chance to try this and let us know.
