Recording 2 tv boxs question.

I have a TV360 system with a 360 mini box and a additional tv box connected via coax cable. Both have recording.

The additional box will record and I am also able to access and use recordings from the main mini box. However, from the main mini box I cannot access the recordings on the additional box even though I can see them. Is this a known problem?

Regards.

What box is this "additional" box?  Is it another 360 or an older V6 than is converted to the 360 software?

      Which boxes do you have?

For example, your additional box might the Stream box and it can't play recordings that you set up on the mini box.  (The mini box is half the height of the main 360 box as it doesn't contain a hard drive)

The mini boxes are half the height of the master boxes. This is because these mini boxes do not contain hard disks, so cannot record & rely on the master box for this facility. I think you will find your “additional” box is in fact the master box.

  • You do make it sound like you have 3 boxes, a 360 main box and a 360 mini box + another box.

If you can identify which boxes you have from newapollo's pictures that would help, an updated V6 box to 360 is now a 360 box, both boxes look the same.

You can't still be trying a use an old TiVo box, picture below,

The main box, i.e. the one with the hard drive, must be powered on and set to Fast Start or Active Start (not eco) mode. Furthermore the other box, the diskless one which is either a 360 mini or Stream, must have a good network connection, being Ethernet cable (best) or Wi-Fi. Note that these latter boxes may allow viewing of a list of UHD recordings but cannot play them back.

  • Hey Twig1, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about your recording issues, have the advice on here helped at all?

If you still need some support on this let us know.

It would be helpful if you could let us know which boxes from the photos you have?
