loss of channel guide

Suddenly lost the list of channels. I can get channels through voice, but list not showing on screen, which makes it very difficult. I have tried disconnecting, turning on and off, but all I get is the Virgin Channel. Any one got any ideas?

  • Are you still having problems, just to clarify things if you press the channel list button to the left of the Home button say you get the Virgin Channel, which Virgin channel or do you mean the Home screen.

  • Hi rosenpete100,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue getting your channel guide. As well as trying the suggestion posted by roy247, can you please also reboot your equipment, following these steps:

    • Please turn both the 360 box and the Hub and leave off for a few minutes.
    • Turn the Hub back on and wait for this to settle and be back online.
    • Turn the 360 box back on.

Let us know if this has helped to restore the connection between the boxes. Can you also let us know if you have any other issues, such as watching streaming content from apps etc?

    Many thanks,

Hi, sorry, been away for a few days. Thanks for you suggestion, but it hasn`t solved the problem. The channel guide is ok, but when I am on (say) BBC one and I click the remote to go up a channel to BBC 2, it`s not there! Same applies to all channels. Is there a way to reload the channels to the same as it was on the 360 box when I first had it?

No issues with streaming or anything else, in fact very pleased apart from the issue above.

  • A factory reset is always a good place to start using the keep recordings option if you haven't already tried that.

It's only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options,

    Keep Recordings

    Format Disk

Choose Keep Recordings, that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up, you will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITV-X again, also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

  • Sorted! All I had to do was reselect "all channels" and they automatically reloaded. Sorry for being so stupid and not looking for the obvious!

Thank you all for your help, your support is much appreciated
