ITV-X and iPlayer black screen on TV360

Last night when I went to ITV-X and iPlayer I just got a silent black screen, I tested Netflix and that seems to be working OK.  The box doesn't crash or display any messages, I can come straight out back to the normal menus.   The on-demand service apps were working fine at the weekend, and as far as I'm aware nothing has changed.

The other posts I've seen all seem to report an Error 02050 which I'm not seeing.

Any ideas?

 

  • Have you tried rebooting the box by turning the power off and on with either the switch on the back of the box or at the plug.

    If that makes no difference you could try turning off the Hub and the 360, wait a minute or two then turn on the Hub and wait for broadband to reconnect and then turn the 360 on again.

    If it's still not working you could try a factory reset.

    It's only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset.

    You are given 2 options,

    Keep Recordings
    Format Disk

    Choose Keep Recordings, that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up, you will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again, also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.
