If you are losing connection it is almost certainly a Wi-Fi problem & nothing to do with the box. Replacing with a Stream box will add even more reliance on clean Wi-Fi, as the live channels are also delivered by Wi-Fi & not through the coaxial cable the minis use.

If you are having a Wifi issue with the 360 mini, perhaps a powerline adapter may help.? You can use these to provide an ethernet cable solution from the Hub to the 360.

It is wired by ethernet so it can't be the WiFi, I don't really use WiFi for anything as I have wired the full house for ethernet, creating a home network , it is defo the coak cable coming through from the living room
If you are talking about live TV coming through the coax you could try swapping the boxes around and if the problem stays in the the location or follows the box. If it's not live TV and it's streaming apps etc then it's your network connection. If swapping the boxes around doesn't fix a streaming problem then check your ethernet cable network.

Hi
I did that and changed the boxes over and the problem didn't follow the box , so it must be the coax cable, I'll contact virgin regarding it
