Hi margo8
Is there a break in the program, so that it's split into two parts?
For example there are a couple of episodes of Aurora Teagarden Mysteries due to be screened on the Great Movies channel on Jun 1st.
Series one episode 16 is at 21:00, however it's split into 2 parts as there is a 5 minute separation where Great Movies News is screened before the second part is transmitted.
The same happens immediately afterwards with Series one episode 13 with the first part screening from 22:55 with another 5 minute break for Great Movies News at 23:50 followed by the continuation of episode 13 at 23:55.
This has happened a few times in the past with the Great suite of channels. It seems they are being picked up/recognised as separate programs.
A workaround is to click the record button, then when the options screen opens to click on Advanced Options. From there click on Extra time after and change it to either 2 or 3 hours. Then scroll down the list and select Record. This should record the full program although the 'News' break will also be recorded.
If you have the series recordings set to New episodes only then I would try changing it to All from series 1 and onwards since the programs aren't being transmitted in sequence.
There are some episodes being screened on Channel 5 which don't have the 'break' in them. The next one is tomorrow afternoon (27th May) as 14:20. There are a few episodes available on catch up if you use the search function.
