Deleting recordings using Virgin TV

I have been in hospital for 4 weeks, so I don't have access to my set top box.

I am able to watch programmes using the app. My recordings are now up to 93% full. The app is supposed to allow me to delete recordings but every time I try it says "Oops, something went wrong, please try again later".

I try again later with the same result, it's been like that for nearly 4 weeks now. It did work properly once a couple of weeks ago and I was able to delete a few recordings, but it has never worked again since.

Is there any way to sort this without physical access to the set top box?

    Knows their stuff

Not sure, but I'd worry more about who is cutting the grass whilst you're away. That never stops either.

Your stb will look after itself. In the meantime look after yourself and get well soon :)

Are you able to set new recordings? Just to test the other part of "recordings management"

Otherwise... no. TV Go (for TV360) or TV Control (for TiVo/V6) is the remote control tool.

  • If can't delete a recording are you able to watch the same recording, if the 360 allows you to watch the recording can you then stop it and delete it.
