Complete loss of signal

Received my 360 handset.  Followed the instructions and it started to up load.  After about 15 minutes it crashed with an error message and told to try again.  Waited half an hour and started again,  When i rebooted it went into an update which ran for about 15 minutes.  I was then asked to pair my handset which i did.  I then got a message on screen saying my handset had been paired but the screen froze at this point and would not respond to the handset.  rebooted, and it opened and stayed on the frozen screen.  Looked on the forum and someone suggested switching off, then hold the plus button and the red button, switch on, wait 30 seconds and release the buttons.  I now have a 'device has no signal' flag.  Rebooted, same again.  Any ideas what I can try next

You could try turning off the V6 by the switch on the back of the box;  then on the front of the V6 box  hold down both the power button and the - (minus)  button at the same time. Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Unfortunately did not fix the problem.  I now have an image of a box with a flashing arrow pointing down at it.

Rebooted again and it started an update, then came up with a message saying poor signal, use another connection, but the remote will not allow me to continue.  Even though I got a message it had been paired it does not seem to work
