360 upgrade
I have exactly the same problem. I was told it would be free and was 'neccessary' then got an email today saying it was a new package and the price had increased by around £10 a month. Having read the threads about how awful 360 is I wish I had not initiated the supposedly free change - I only did so because the email seemed to be saying I had to. Should I refuse to accept the remote when it comes? Here is what the original email said - It was headed 'Your TV Box Needs An Upgrade'
Just a heads up that the Virgin TV box you currently have is using old software, which means you aren’t getting the most out of your services.
The good news is, we can upgrade you to a new Virgin TV 360 box at no extra cost.
I can't afford the extra money and don't nee/want the change!
