360 upgrade

We have received our new 360 remote controls and followed the instruction on the upgrade app  Both our tvs have upgraded but are stuck on the 360 welcome page The new remotes are unresponsive but the light flashes on it to show the batteries are working  The old remote will only respond to switch tv on and off.

Any suggestions please
