We have two boxes, one upgraded fine last night, no problems. The other in my Father-in-laws room is just blank.
We just get no signal on the screen. Tried powering off/on and tried a hard reset using power & minus volume button but same. It's just sat there with a red light on the box and nothing else.
What do we do now? He has just come out of hospital so has nothing to watch all day!
Were these 2 V6 boxes that were upgraded? Can you swap the boxes for a test, and see if it upgrades on a different connection?
Yes they were V6 boxes. I can try swapping them around later when I get home.
Rather annoyed that these just upgraded without telling me or asking me first!

Eh? Normally users are offered the "upgrade" and initiate it themselves? I've never heard of any upgrades being done any other way?
