360 remote no switch app on v6

Received 360 remote 4 days ago. Current box is v6  Have spent hours searching tips etc & following online instructions including disconnecting v6 box, rebooting wifi etc etc and still no switch app on the apps page. All options I can see online are now exhausted. Spent 2 hours trying to speak to virgin customer services and continually placed in a doom loop of recorded messages then cut off. Can't get through to a human. Have given up so any advice welcome. Thank you.

  • Thanks for the tips. Have photographed all my series links. First time on forum. Posted yesterday. Still no reply or help from virgin. Not at all impressed at their lack of help , advice or just ignoring my post ?? Have submitted a complaint as still unable to get through on phone despite persistence. Feeling like my money is taken yet no customer help accessible. Have been a customer since ntl and never had problems like this before. Always been able to get help by phone. Seems no longer possible??? Expecting my v6 to stop working at some point & then will be left with nothing given other posts on this forum.

      Sorry to hear you're having an issue with the upgrade from V6 to 360. 
      I'd like to investigate this for you and see what we can do from here.

    Yes, stick with the V6, it's the far better system. Though I imagine at this point the change will happen eventually, so make sure you take a note of all your series links somewhere and hang on to it for the next year or two as you will need to set them up again, but on the 360, you can only do that when they are in the TV guide (so due to be shown in the next week or two).
