360 Recordings Query

Fairly new to the 360 box so still finding my way around, however one thing does puzzle me.

Under RECORDINGS, you can VIEW ALL RECORDED and VIEW ALL PLANNED RECORDINGS with the option under  RECORDED ticked to show Recorded and under PLANNED RECORDINGS ticked to show Planned.

Seems straightforward so why, under the RECORDED section does it sometimes also show PLANNED RECORDINGS. Is there a setting I have missed that only shows RECORDED under RECORDED. 

e.g. I'm currently recording the series Long Bright River. Under RECORDINGS, Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4 all have a full Red circle indicating they've been recorded, but also showing Episodes 5, 6, 7, 8 due to be recorded this week. Some other series I have recorded only show ones which have been recorded, as expected but there are others showing future recordings as well. Seems pretty random.

    Long bright river is being broadcast on successive nights so all the episodes will display as either recorded or coming up within the next few nights.... Or even available now via streamer (whatever 4od is called this week 😆)

    Most series are weekly so may only display a couple of episodes available.

    Planned recordings only show when the episodes appear on the EPG which might only cover the upcoming 2 weeks for some channels.

    In answer to your question you haven't missed a setting.

      Thanks for the replies.

      Maybe its just me but i would expect RECORDED to only show programs which you have recorded and PLANNED to show programs you planned. 

      Try explaining to an elderly parent that programs they recorded are under RECORDED but they want to watch the next episode in the list which is PLANNED. Their eyesight's not great so they don't see the date is next week's date and cant understand why a planned recording is under recorded.
