360 horrible

Asked for a new smaller box and was told it had to be a 360 and since August I’ve been trying to get the package I was offered ( still trying to get my sim and have been told to contact o2 myself ) ; finally got the box and set it up but it and the remote is horrendous to use. Can something be done? Had a TiVo and preferred its remote control. Having to click something to go into something else and then choose something again is definitely a step backwards. Can’t access recordings like my shows etc instantly and the purple background on the homepage and at the foot of the screen on tv channels makes it so hard to see the options. I hate it so much. The box switches itself off and is a pain; I’ve only had it two days and deeply regret making the switch.

    Can we just clarify which box you had and which you now have this link should help 

    If it's a 360 main box and the box is turning off and just needs turning on again check the Standby timer setting, press Home > Settings > System > Standby timer, you can set it to 4, 5, 6, or 24 hours if there has been no interaction between the remote and box it will turn off.

    You can also use voice control to go to your recordings.
