360 Box starting Recs. at start but asking to keep/delete and not playing.

Hi everyone,

My Virgin 360 Box has now started doing 2 things, the first being it starts the recordings showing they are at the end even though it is at the start (on every recording, Live and standard programs) then asking to keep/delete and then I need to rewind the entire program to watch.

Secondly, no matter how many recordings I delete the box just isn't freeing up any space meaning that I am running with around 10 programs recorded at 97% and won't be able to record anything else soon.

I have seen a solution is a new box, but is that the only one? Obviously getting all my programs all set up again is a pain.

Cheers,

Adam 🙂

  • I have just counted I have 12 hours of mixed HD/SD content. Definitely had probably 10x this in the past!

Hey AdamPinxton, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am sorry to hear about your recording issues.

Did the above advice help at all, or are you needing some more support?

  • You could try using the TVGO app and try using that to delete recordings, the recordings information is held on Virgin's servers although the recordings are on your box.

You can turn off the keep or delete option if you go to your saved recordings and select manage storage, put your pin number in and it's the first option you get.

Press Home > Recordings > Recorded > View All > Manage Storage > Enter your pin > Ask to delete after watching > Set to Off.

I think from previous posts about the recordings starting at the end they have had the box replaced.

You could try a factory reset using the keep recordings option.
