trying to order a new tivo remote - website sending me round in circles!!!!!

Trying to order a new TIVO handset as volume and channel buttons are worn out  - I go so far through the process, get to the confirm order screen , press Confirm and then it sends me to a service status screen!!!!!!!

I find the Virgin media websites the most infuriating glitched out website ever!! sends you in loops and makes you log in every 2 or 3 screens!!!

Any ideas on how to move forward?

 

  • Yes. You are correct the VM website is almost totally broken. I reported a bug on their website a few weeks ago. While most companies would be extremely grateful that you've taken the time to report a fault with their website, VM basically ignored me.

    Therefore VM will not be fixing their website anytime soon as there is no internal communications mechanism at VM for support staff to get in touch with the web developers.

    I would love to be proven wrong. It's a bug that takes about 25 seconds to fix, it's been 3 weeks since I reported it.

  • This is just one example of the site being broken, I tried to order some of the wi fi boosters but the site is completely self referential, loops within loops!!. being made to log in every couple of pages - the whole site needs looking at!!
