TiVo to 360 upgrade

I was recently offered the upgrade to 360 from TiVo and accepted without reading up on it. Now that I have, I would like to keep TiVo box. I haven't received the 360 box so can I just refuse to take it in or set it up and be able to keep the TiVo?

  • TV360 (running Horizon software) is a totally different TV platform to TiVo/V6 (running TiVo-software) - meaning the conversion from TiVo/V6 > TV360 is as much an account one as equipment swap.

    If your new TV360 box has been ordered, it's probably too late - however, waiting on this forum for a response may delay things too much.. it could potentially be clear of the Bank Holiday weekend.

    Try calling in, there's no guarantee but time could be of the essence.

      Thank you for the reply. I've managed to WhatsApp message and the upgrade has been cancelled. Time was definitely of the essence as I received the new remote last evening and the software update was scheduled to be done 5 days after receiving it. Luckily I was able to cancel the update and have to return the new remote. Just waiting for an email confirmation now to put my mind completely at rest
