When someone calls my number the telephone does not ring. There is a dialing tone when handset used for outgoing calls and I can call out no problem. I have reconnected the old phone which did work but now that does not ring when called. I have checked the ringer volume and that is set to full volume. I have also changed all cables no joy. I can see the number on the phone and can answer the call.

So when this happens for you, do you know if it is a certain type of number that doesn't work, like a mobile number or landline one?
